  1. What influences your values about issues relating to your life?

The things that influence my values about issues related to my life, are people, more specifically my parents, friends and family.

    2.   Do you ever compare images/values presented by the media to those of the bible? If so why?     why not?

Yes, I do compare images or values presented by the media to the those of the bible, because the way that the media present and explain the images, make them seem like they are in the bible, representing either Jesus or the Devil.

   3.   Has this project challenged you to examine your values? Why / Why not

Yes, it has challenged me to examine my values, because this project asks us to evaluate the values of topics in the current media, which makes me think of mine.

  • Squints.

     3.   propose what sort of lens may be used to correct each vision.

  • Short-sightedness could be corrected by using glasses that have concave lenses so that the focal distance will increase in your vision or sight.
  • Long-sightendess could be corrected by using glasses that have convex lenses so that the focal distance will decrease in your vision or sight.

How do you feel the media portrays social justice issues?

I feel that the media portrays social justice issues as issues that are the most relevant and important topics that they concentrate on, as they are talking to and informing the people that are affected and therefore get more views or ratings.

Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issues why/why not?

Not really, because as I stated in the first question, the media portrays social justice issues as issues that are the most relevant and important topics that they concentrate on, as they are talking to and informing the people that are affected, which would make it very easy to find these sort of issues in the local newspaper or even the internet.

Do you think that the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research.

Yes, I do think that the media works from a right or wrong framework, as I have found during my research that they have taken a side, which in this case was the ’right’ and ‘fair’ side, and that they have claimed throughout their articles that they think that the “death penalty is the cruelist form of punishment yet”, “the death penalty should be abolished throughout the world”, and more………
